Afternoon heat index values for locations west of
Cumberland Plateau Region will range from 100 to
around 107 degrees both Thursday and Friday afternoons.

A few strong thunderstorms possible Friday afternoon, mainly across
northeast and Cumberland Plateau Regions. Main threat with strong
thunderstorms will be strong winds.
