...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON...
The Flash Flood Watch is in effect for
* A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following areas,
Giles, Lawrence, and Wayne counties.
* Through this afternoon
* Up to 3 to 5 inches of rainfall has fallen across the watch
area. One half to one inch of additional rainfall is possible
through this afternoon.
* PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
