NORTHWESTERN WILSON AND NORTHEASTERN CHEATHAM COUNTIES UNTIL 445 PM
CDT...

At 353 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Joelton, or near Nashville, moving east at 35 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Gallatin, Lebanon, Ashland City, Nashville, Madison, Hendersonville,
Mount Juliet, Goodlettsville, Millersville, Forest Hills, Oak Hill,
Belle Meade, Lakewood, Ridgetop, Hermitage, Rural Hill, Belinda City,
Old Hickory, Joelton and Pleasant View.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 200 and 231.
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 77 and 102.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 29 and 56.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
