WHITE AND SOUTHEASTERN PUTNAM COUNTIES UNTIL 630 PM CDT...

At 544 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Sparta, moving northeast at 20 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Sparta, Monterey, Pleasant Hill and Virgin Falls State Natural Area.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 291 and 315.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
