...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM CST
FOR SOUTHEASTERN DICKSON...NORTH CENTRAL MAURY...NORTHWESTERN
WILLIAMSON AND NORTHEASTERN HICKMAN COUNTIES...

At 717 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located Primm Springs, or
13 miles east of Centerville, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Fairview, Primm Springs, Lyles and Bon Aqua.

This includes Interstate 840 between mile markers 3 and 20.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CST for Middle
Tennessee.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
