This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Middle Tennessee.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
Several waves of moderate to heavy rain are expected across Middle
Tennessee from early Friday morning through Monday, with the
heaviest rainfall anticipated on Sunday. Current indications are
that anywhere from 2 to 5 inches of rain could fall from Friday
through Monday. These rainfall amounts could cause flooding in some
areas, along with rises on area rivers and lakes.
In addition, a few strong storms with gusty winds are possible on
Sunday, mainly in the morning.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation may be needed this weekend into early next week.
Please relay any information about observed flooding or severe
weather to the NWS while following all local, state, and CDC
guidelines.
