This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Middle Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect until 6 PM Thursday for entire
mid state region. Expect snow to last through remainder of evening
hours. After midnight, a developing area across southwest mid state
containing a wintry mixture of snow, sleet, light freezing
rain/freezing drizzle is expected to spread from the southwest to
the northeast across mid state region. Travel conditions will
become even more challenging owing to ice and snow that remains
on ground from last event.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

The Winter Storm Warning will continue to be in effect until 6 PM
Thursday as a wintry mix is expected through for much of day. Total
snow and sleet accumulations of 2 to 5 inches can be expected in most
places. In addition, ice accumulations up to 0.1 inches will also be
possible. Locally higher amounts are also possible.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will likely be needed to relay measured wintry
precipitation amounts to NWS Nashville Office. Please relay any
information about observed winter weather to the NWS while following
all local, state, and CDC guidelines.
