This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Middle Tennessee.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Strong to severe storms will be possible between approximately 3 and
10 pm CST today along and south of I-40. The main concerns will be
damaging straight line winds of 60 mph or more and an isolated
tornado. 1 to 2 inches of rain is expected, so flooding is not
likely.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Strong to severe storms will be possible again Friday night. While
the details are less certain, please remain weather aware throughout
the week.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will likely be needed today and again Friday night.
Please relay any information about observed severe weather to the
NWS while following all local, state, and CDC guidelines.
