* Until 430 AM CST.
* At 350 AM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles northeast of Westmoreland to 8 miles south
of Hartsville to 6 miles east of Walterhill, moving east at 70 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include...
Lafayette, Carthage, Gainesboro, Hartsville, Westmoreland,
Watertown, Baxter, Gordonsville, Red Boiling Springs, Hickman,
South Carthage, Alexandria, Tuckers Crossroads, Whitleyville, Moss,
Bugtussle, Dixon Springs, Pleasant Shade, Cedars Of Lebanon State
Park and Center Hill Lake.
This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 242 and 272, and
between mile markers 275 and 279.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 AM CST for Middle
Tennessee. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 1100 AM CST
for Middle Tennessee.
