...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS CANCELLED...

The Flash Flood Watch for a portion of Middle Tennessee, including
the following areas, Dickson, Giles, Hickman, Houston, Humphreys,
Lawrence, Lewis, Maury, Montgomery, Perry, Stewart and Wayne has
been cancelled.

The Flash Flood threat has diminished with rain moving out of the
area this afternoon. Some minor flooding will be possible, but the
Flash Flood Watch has been cancelled.

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM CDT WEDNESDAY...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following areas,
  Bedford, Cannon, Cheatham, Clay, Coffee, Cumberland, Davidson, De
  Kalb, Fentress, Grundy, Jackson, Macon, Marshall, Overton,
  Pickett, Putnam, Robertson, Rutherford, Smith, Sumner, Trousdale,
  Van Buren, Warren, White, Williamson and Wilson.

* Until 1 AM CDT Wednesday.

* Widespread heavy rainfall associated with the Tropical Depression
  Ida will continue to move across Middle Tennessee through late
  tonight. Additional rainfall amounts between 1" to 2" will be
  possible.  Prolonged heavy rainfall could lead to flash flooding
  issues.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
