The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Northwestern Macon County in middle Tennessee...
  Northeastern Robertson County in middle Tennessee...
  Northern Sumner County in middle Tennessee...

* Until 800 PM CDT.

* At 555 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
  shortly in the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Gallatin, Lafayette, White House, Westmoreland, Cross Plains,
  Portland, Orlinda, Mitchellville, Oak Grove and Cottontown.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the
area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
