[BNAWX] Thoughts on today's catastrophic flooding

I don't often make posts on here as I try to let it be a feed for 
weather bulletins only however today has been an exceptional day. I 
honestly don't care who you are or what you believe in but the people 
affected by the floods today need all the prayers and support that they 
can get.  Today's catastrophic flooding is an extraordinary event far 
surpassing the Nashville flood in 2010. The official rain gauge in 
McEwen topped out at 17.02 inches of rain which was in a very short time 
whereas Nashville's major flood was spread over two days.  That's almost 
half of the annual rainfall for a normal year!

My heartfelt condolences go out to those affected by today's 
catastrophic flooding.  Recovery operations will continue and 
unfortunately the death count will continue to rise.  Please keep these 
communities in your thoughts and prayers as this will be a very long 
road to recovery.
