...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of Smith, southwestern
Jackson and west central Putnam Counties through 530 PM CDT...

At 457 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Gordonsville, or 7 miles southwest of Carthage, moving northeast at
15 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Carthage, Gordonsville, Hickman, South Carthage and Granville.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 250 and 268.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
