SOUTHWESTERN SUMNER AND NORTHWESTERN WILSON COUNTIES UNTIL 745 PM
CDT...

At 702 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Nashville, moving east at 25 mph.

Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Gallatin, Lebanon, Nashville, Madison, Hendersonville, Mount Juliet,
Goodlettsville, Oak Hill, Lakewood, Hermitage, Belinda City, Old
Hickory, Berry Hill and Green Hill.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 208 and 232.
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 79 and 93.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 42 and 54.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
