.A combination of low fuel moisture levels, low relative humidity
and elevated wind speeds will lead to red flag conditions across
the warning area today.

...RED FLAG WARNING IS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 6 PM
CST THIS EVENING FOR PORTIONS OF THE NORTHERN HIGHLAND RIM
DISTRICT...

The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect from 10 AM this morning to 6 PM CST
this evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 005, 006, 007, 008, 023,
  025, 026, and 027.

* WIND...20 foot wind speeds of 15-18 mph will be common.

* HUMIDITY...17%-21%

* 10 HOUR FUEL MOISTURE...5% to 8%

* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
