...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHWESTERN HOUSTON AND NORTH
CENTRAL HUMPHREYS COUNTIES UNTIL 400 PM CDT...

At 308 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles southwest of Tennessee Ridge, or 11 miles northwest of Waverly,
moving east at 10 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Erin, Tennessee Ridge and Houston County Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
