...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR LEWIS...NORTHERN WAYNE AND
SOUTHEASTERN HICKMAN COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
Middle Tennessee.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 500 PM CDT
FOR NORTHERN LAWRENCE...SOUTHERN MAURY AND NORTHWESTERN GILES
COUNTIES...

At 445 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Columbia to 8 miles southeast of Mount Pleasant
to near Lawrenceburg, moving east at 60 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Columbia, Lawrenceburg, Mount Pleasant, Summertown, Ethridge,
Henryville and Culleoka.

This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 36 and 44.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
