across southern portions of Middle Tennessee through evening
hours tonight. 1 to 2 inches, with some locations experiencing
around 3 inches of rainfall could fall within a short period of
time in the watch area.

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...
The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following areas,
Bedford, Coffee, Giles, Grundy, Lawrence, Lewis, Marshall,
Maury, Van Buren, Warren, and Wayne.
* Through late tonight.
* Heavy showers and thunderstorms will move across the area this
morning through evening hours tonight. 1 to 2 inches, with some
locations experiencing around 3 inches of rainfall could fall
within a short period of time causing flooding of streets and
low lying areas.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
