following rivers in Middle Tennessee...

  Red River At Port Royal affecting Montgomery and Robertson Counties

. Recent heavy rainfall has caused the Red River at Port Royal to enter action stage.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a
* Flood Advisory for
  The Red River At Port Royal
* At 5 PM Tuesday the stage was 27.3 feet.
* Action stage is 25.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
* The river will continue to fall to near 26.1 feet by tomorrow morning.
* At 17.0 feet...The public access parking lot at Port Royal State Park is
  completely inundated.
* At 11.0 feet...Water begins to inundate the public access parking lot and
  picnic area at Port Royal State Park.
