This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Middle Tennessee.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
A strong shortwave will traverse the mid state area today. As
instability levels climb by this afternoon, some of the thunderstorm
activity could strengthen and reach strong to severe limits.
Damaging winds will be the primary threat with the timeframe being
mainly during the afternoon.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
Another shortwave on Monday will attempt to impact portions of
middle TN with a chance of strong to severe thunderstorms once again.
With the better energy expected to remain west and north of our
area, only far western areas of the mid state are under the gun for
the strong to severe activity. again, damaging winds will be the main
threat.
A frontal boundary will push through on Tuesday night. Prior to this
time, enough instability may be in place for stronger storms,
primarily across the south half of the mid state.

Spotter activation may be needed. Please relay any information about
observed severe weather to the NWS while following all local, state,
and CDC guidelines.
