NORTHWESTERN RUTHERFORD AND SOUTHWESTERN WILSON COUNTIES UNTIL 645 PM
CDT...

At 553 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Gladeville, or 8 miles southwest of Lebanon, moving southwest at 10
mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Murfreesboro, Lebanon, Smyrna, La Vergne, Mount Juliet, Walterhill,
Rural Hill, Belinda City and Gladeville.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 225 and 230.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 60 and 69.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 55 and 74.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If on or near Percy Priest Lake, get out of the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to
10 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you
are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter
now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
