following rivers in Middle Tennessee...

  Richland Creek Above Pulaski affecting Giles County

. Richland Creek above Pulaski has risen above action stage due to last night's
rainfall. Additional rainfall expected tonight through Wednesday could keep
Richland Creek above action stage for a longer period of time than currently
forecasted.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

  The Richland Creek Above Pulaski
* At 02PM Tuesday the stage was 16.0 feet and rising.
* Action stage is 16.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* The river will rise to near 18.7 feet after midnight tomorrow.
* At 20.0 feet...Portions of Vales Mill Rd between Chicken Creek Rd and the
  Highway 64 bypass become inundated and may be subject to closure
* At 16.0 feet...Flooding of low lying agricultural land along the river begins
