...Flooding Rains Expected Thursday and Friday...
.The first storm system of 2020 will bring more heavy rain to
Middle Tennessee on Thursday and Friday, with rainfall totals of 2
to 4 inches expected. The highest amounts are expected across
southern Middle TN. This rainfall falling so soon after the
recent heavy rain last Sunday could lead to more flooding across
the area.

* A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following areas,
Bedford, Cannon, Cheatham, Clay, Coffee, Cumberland, Davidson,
De Kalb, Dickson, Fentress, Giles, Grundy, Hickman, Houston,
Humphreys, Jackson, Lawrence, Lewis, Macon, Marshall, Maury,
Montgomery, Overton, Perry, Pickett, Putnam, Robertson,
Rutherford, Smith, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Van Buren,
Warren, Wayne, White, Williamson, and Wilson.
* From Thursday afternoon through Friday afternoon
* Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are expected, with the highest
amounts across southern Middle TN.
* Heavy rainfall could lead to flooding of roads, low lying
areas, low water crossings, rivers, creeks and streams
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.
You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
