...Additional snowfall possible along the Cumberland Plateau late
this afternoon and tonight...

As the clipper system, which prompted the current winter weather
advisory, moves through the Plateau area this morning, a second
clipper system will be on approach. By late afternoon and this
evening, snow will return. Additional accumulations of around one
half inch will be possible, with perhaps an inch in a few of the
highest elevation locales. Furthermore, as temperatures drop below
freezing, roadway conditions will again become problematic with
slick conditions and some snow covered roads. If travelling along
the Cumberland Plateau, continue to exercise caution throughout
today and tonight. The snowfall should end after midnight.
