Duck River At Columbia affecting Maury County
. Recent rains have caused rises along the Duck River.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a
* Flood Advisory for
The Duck River At Columbia
* At 10PM Wednesday the stage was 27.8 feet.
* Action stage is 28.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
* The river will rise to near 31.9 feet Friday morning.
* At 28.0 Inundation of agricultural land along the river begins.
* At 30.0 In Columbia water begins to inundate the low lying portions of the
municipal park and riverwalk and the Riverside Elementary School athletic fields.
Water approaches Highway 247 near Williamsport.
* At 32.0 The municipal park and Riverside Elementary School athletic fields begin
to flood in Columbia and water begins to flood low lying portions of Highway 247
near Williamsport which may be subject to closure at higher river levels.
* At 34.0 Flood waters cover Highway 247 at the Duck River near Williamsport and
reach portions of the Tennessee Valley Packing Company near the river. The TWRA
river access begins to flood.
