  Stones River Near Donelson affecting Davidson County

. Heavy rainfall has caused rises on area streams and rivers. This includes higher than normal levels on Percy Priest Lake and the Stones River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

from the National Weather Service.

The Flood Advisory is extended for
  The Stones River Near Donelson
* Until further notice.
* At 3 PM Thursday the stage was 23.9 feet.
* Action stage is 20.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
* The Stones River will stay above action stage until further notice.
* At 23.0 feet portions of the Stones River Greenway are impassable between Percy  Priest Dam and Lebanon Road. Low lying areas near the river are inundated near Jackson Downs.
