  Richland Creek Above Pulaski affecting Giles County

. Heavy rain has caused Richland Creek above Pulaski to rise above Action
Stage. The creek is cresting and will begin to recede this evening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

The Flood Advisory continues for
  The Richland Creek Above Pulaski
* Until Friday afternoon.
* At 12PM Thursday the stage was 18.5 feet.
* Action stage is 16.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* The river will continue to fall to near 16.8 feet by tomorrow morning.
* At 20.0 feet...Portions of Vales Mill Rd between Chicken Creek Rd and the
  Highway 64 bypass become inundated and may be subject to closure
* At 16.0 feet...Flooding of low lying agricultural land along the river begins
