North central Dickson County in Middle Tennessee...
Central Montgomery County in Middle Tennessee...
North central Sumner County in Middle Tennessee...
Northwestern Cheatham County in Middle Tennessee...
Robertson County in Middle Tennessee...
* Until 1230 AM CST.
* At 923 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause
minor flooding in the advisory area. Doppler radar estimates 1 to
2 inches of inches of rain has already fallen in some areas, and
these amounts will continue to increase throughout the evening.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Springfield, Clarksville, Coopertown, Cross Plains, Pleasant View,
Orlinda, Adams, Cedar Hill, Mitchellville, Slayden, Palmyra,
Cunningham and Black Jack.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 65 between mile markers 115 and 121.
Interstate 24 between mile markers 6 and 23.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
