This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Middle Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

The remnants of Hurricane Laura are expected to move across Middle
Tennessee Friday afternoon through Saturday morning, although
uncertainty continues on the exact timing and strength of the system
once it reaches our region. Gusty winds will accompany Laura and an
isolated tornado or two may occur across Middle Tennessee from late
Friday afternoon through Saturday morning. Heavy downpours within
the bands of showers could cause brief localized flooding. Some
locations could have more than 2 inches of rain, mainly across
northwest Middle Tennessee.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed late Friday afternoon through
Saturday morning. Please relay any information about observed
flooding or severe weather to the NWS while following all local,
state, and CDC guidelines.
