...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR WEST CENTRAL CUMBERLAND AND EAST
CENTRAL WHITE COUNTIES UNTIL 1230 PM CDT...

At 1157 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles east of Sparta. This storm was nearly stationary.

Pea size hail, winds in excess of 30 mph, frequent cloud to ground
lightning strikes, and brief heavy rainfall will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Pleasant Hill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Brief heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized minor flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
