Northwestern Jackson County in Middle Tennessee...
West central Clay County in Middle Tennessee...
Southeastern Macon County in Middle Tennessee...
* Until 345 PM CDT.
* At 309 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Red Boiling
Springs, or 9 miles east of Lafayette, moving southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Gainesboro, Red Boiling Springs and Whitleyville.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground
lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately.
