NORTHWESTERN RUTHERFORD AND SOUTHWESTERN WILSON COUNTIES UNTIL 630 PM
CDT...

At 556 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Rural Hill, or 11 miles southwest of Lebanon, moving southeast at 10
mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Murfreesboro, Lebanon, Smyrna, La Vergne, Mount Juliet, Walterhill,
Rural Hill, Belinda City, Cedars Of Lebanon State Park, Percy Priest
Lake and Gladeville.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 217 and 232.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 64 and 74.
 Interstate 840 near mile marker 49, and between mile markers 56 and
74.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
