...Heavy Rainfall Possible Across Middle Tennessee Sunday
Afternoon Through Sunday Night...
.Showers and thunderstorms will become more numerous
across mid state region as Sunday morning hours progress.
Showers and thunderstorms are expected to produce heavy
rainfall Sunday afternoon through Sunday night. Two to three
inches, with some locations approaching the Tennessee...Alabama
Border and across the Cumberland Plateau Region experiencing 4 to
6 inches of rainfall as showers and thunderstorms continue to
move over the same areas, is expected.

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM NOON ON SUNDAY UNTIL 1 AM
CDT MONDAY MORNING...
The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a
* Flash Flood Watch for a portion of Middle Tennessee, including
the following areas, Bedford, Clay, Davidson, Giles, Jackson,
Lawrence, Lewis, Marshall, Maury, Rutherford, Smith,
Trousdale, Wayne, Williamson, and Wilson.
* From Noon on Sunday until 1 AM CDT Monday Morning.
* Heavy showers and thunderstorms will move across the area
bringing 2 to 3 inches, with some locally higher amounts of 4 to
6 inches possible especially for southern locations approaching
the Tennessee...Alabama Border. This heavy rainfall could fall
within a short period of time causing flooding of streets and
low lying areas.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

Fentress, Grundy, Overton, Pickett, Putnam, Van Buren, Warren,
and White.
* From Sunday Noon Until 7 AM CDT Monday Morning.
* Heavy showers and thunderstorms will move across the area
bringing 2 to 3 inches, with some locally higher amounts 4 to 6
inches possible especially for Cumberland Plateau Region. This
heavy rainfall could fall within a short period of time causing
flooding of streets and low lying areas.
