...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHWESTERN WARREN AND EAST
CENTRAL CANNON COUNTIES UNTIL 630 PM CDT...

At 547 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Woodbury, moving northeast at 5 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph, frequent cloud to ground lightning
strikes, and brief heavy rainfall will be possible with this storm.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Warren
and east central Cannon Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Brief heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized minor flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
