...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHERN MARSHALL...SOUTHEASTERN
LAWRENCE AND GILES COUNTIES UNTIL 500 PM CST...

At 425 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles east of Loretto, or 9 miles south of Lawrenceburg, moving east
at 75 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Lewisburg, Lawrenceburg, Pulaski, Petersburg, Ardmore, Cornersville,
Elkton, Minor Hill, Belfast, Goodspring, Leoma, Frankewing and
Prospect.

This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 1 and 29.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
