JACKSON AND WEST CENTRAL PUTNAM COUNTIES UNTIL 715 PM CDT...

At 642 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Gordonsville, or 9 miles southwest of Carthage, moving east at 40
mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Carthage, Baxter, Gordonsville, Hickman, South Carthage and
Granville.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 251 and 268.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
