The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
  Northeast Arkansas
  Missouri Bootheel
  Western Tennessee

* Effective this Wednesday morning from 605 AM until NOON CDT.

* Primary threats include...
  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
  Isolated large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible

SUMMARY...A cluster of storms will continue a general
east/northeastward progression this morning across the region. The
strongest portion of these storms could produce locally damaging
winds along with some hail.

The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 35
statute miles north and south of a line from 20 miles southwest of
Walnut Ridge AR to 25 miles north northeast of Jackson TN. For a

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
tornadoes.
