  Stones River Near Donelson affecting Davidson County

. Levels on the Stones River have been generally deceasing over the past few days. However, the river will continue to hover around action stage through the rest of today.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

The Flood Advisory is extended for
  The Stones River Near Donelson
* Until Saturday morning.
* At 8 AM Friday the stage was 21.0 feet.
* Action stage is 20.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
* The river is expected to hover around action stage through the rest of today and this evening. Levels will vary slightly as releases from the dam begin and end.
* At action stage, portions of the Stones River Greenway between the dam and Lebanon Road are inundated. As the water level generally decreases into the weekend, the greenway will hopefully be fully clear for recreational use.
