...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in Tennessee...
Tennessee River At Clifton affecting Decatur...Hardin...Perry and Wayne
Counties
.The Tennessee River at Clifton will remain above flood stage for the
next several days as the river slowly falls.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Avoid flooded areas along the river...And move personal belongings to higher
ground. Never drive through flooded roads as the depth of water may be too great
to pass...Even in trucks or sport utility vehicles. If you come across a flooded
road...Turn around don't drown.

from the National Weather Service.

The Flood Warning continues for
The Tennessee River At Clifton
* Until further notice.
* At 8 AM Monday the estimated river stage was 376.56 feet and slowly falling.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 370.0 feet.
* The river is forecast to continue falling to near 376.0 feet by Wednesday.
* At 378.0 feet...In Wayne County, portions of Route 128 north of Clifton begin
to flood.
* At 376.0 feet...In Decatur County, water reaches the ground floor of homes in
the Russ Farm area. In the Martins Landing subdivision, water inundates the
boat launch and landing area and may inundate the ground floor of homes in the
area. Access may be limited due to flooded roads.
