...The National Weather Service in Nashville, Tn has issued a flood advisory for
the following rivers in middle Tennessee...
Cumberland River At Carthage affecting Smith County
.Heavy rainfall on Saturday along with continued water releases from area dams
will keep the Cumberland River high through much of this week.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

The National Weather Service in Nashville, Tn has issued a
* Flood Advisory for
The Cumberland River At Carthage
* At 4PM Sunday the stage was 35.2 feet.
* Action stage is 35.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
* The river will rise to near 35.5 feet tonight then begin slowly falling.
* At 35.0 feet...Agricultural and low lying areas along the river are impacted
by high water, as well as adjacent tributaries including the Caney Fork River,
Ward Creek, Peytons Creek, Round Lick Creek, Wilburn Creek, Dixon Creek, and
Goose Creek. Athletic fields along Little Goose Creek in Hartsville are
covered with water, as well as portions of Watervale Ln/County House Cir.
Water approaches properties along Swope Rd, Industrial Dr, Jefferson Ave West,
and Upper Ferry Rd in Carthage.
