...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in Tennessee...

  Tennessee River At Clifton affecting Decatur...Hardin...Perry and Wayne
  Counties

. The Tennessee River at Clifton will continue to be above flood stage for several
days as the river falls very slowly. Rainfall today will not cause rises on the
river in the near future.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Avoid flooded areas along the river...And move personal belongings to higher
ground. Never drive through flooded roads as the depth of water may be too great
to pass...Even in trucks or sport utility vehicles. If you come across a flooded
road...Turn around don't drown.

from the National Weather Service.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Tennessee River At Clifton
* Until further notice.
* Moderate flooding is occuring.
* The current river level is near 382 feet.
* Flood stage is 370.0 feet.
* At 381.5 feet...In Decatur County, water reaches the ground floor of house #16
  in the Riverstone subdivsion.
* At 381.0 feet...In Decatur County, water reaches the ground floor of the
  lowest home in the Rivers Edge Landing subdivision.
* At 380.0 feet...In Wayne County, Route 128 north of Clifton is flooded and may
  be impassable. Homes and permanent structures in the Peters Landing area along
  the river begin to flood.
