NORTHEASTERN MAURY AND CENTRAL WILLIAMSON COUNTIES UNTIL 500 PM
CDT...

At 420 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking development of several
strong thunderstorm near Thompson's Station, Franklin, Spring Hill
and surrounding areas. The storms were moving north at 10 mph.

Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Franklin, Columbia, Brentwood, Spring Hill, Nolensville, Thompson's
Station and Leipers Fork.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 47 and 68.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 17 and 39.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring, and may lead to localized
flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring. Lightning can
strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside
a building or vehicle.
