The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  East central Davidson County in Middle Tennessee...
  Southern Sumner County in Middle Tennessee...
  Northwestern Wilson County in Middle Tennessee...
  West central Trousdale County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 1100 PM CDT.

* At 853 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
  Doppler radar estimates up to one inch of rain has already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Gallatin, Hendersonville, Mount Juliet, Lakewood, Old Hickory,
  Cottontown and Bledsoe Creek State Park.

Additional rainfall of one to two inches is possible over the area.
This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

This includes Interstate 40 near mile marker 228.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
