WHITE...PUTNAM AND NORTHEASTERN CANNON COUNTIES UNTIL 245 PM CDT...

At 200 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Baxter to near Woodbury. Movement was
northeast at 40 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Cookeville, Sparta, Smithville, Algood, Monterey, Baxter, Doyle,
Hamptons Crossroads, Bakers Crossroads, Crawford, Burgess Falls State
Park and Rickman.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 271 and 304.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
