COUNTIES UNTIL 300 AM CDT...

At 221 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Hurricane Mills, or 13 miles south of Waverly, moving east at 30 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Hurricane Mills, Lobelville, Pinewood and Bucksnort.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 140 and 162.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
