...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTH CENTRAL MARSHALL...SOUTHERN
LAWRENCE AND GILES COUNTIES UNTIL 700 AM CDT...

At 619 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorms 8
miles north of Loretto, or 8 miles southwest of Lawrenceburg, moving
east at 35 mph. These storms contain very heavy rain and brief
localized flooding may occur as they pass.

Winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Lawrenceburg, Pulaski, Loretto, Ardmore, St. Joseph, Elkton, Minor
Hill, Goodspring, Leoma, Frankewing, Prospect and Iron City.

This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 1 and 21.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
