The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Southern Overton County in Middle Tennessee...
  Northwestern Cumberland County in Middle Tennessee...
  Northeastern Putnam County in Middle Tennessee...
  Southwestern Fentress County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 1000 PM CDT.

* At 659 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
  Doppler radar estimates up to three inches of rain have already
  fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Monterey, Crawford, Grimsley, Rickman and Clarkrange.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 293 and 304.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
