This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Middle
Tennessee.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible this afternoon
for areas south of I-40. Some storms could become strong with
winds up to 50 mph. Heavy rainfall could lead to localized
flooding if showers linger over a single area for an extended
period of time.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
The remnants of Tropical Storm Barry could present a flooding
problem for portions of Middle TN Monday and Tuesday. 4 to 6
inches of rainfall are currently forecast for areas west of I-65,
closest to the Tennessee River. While these numbers could change
over the next 24-48 hours based on the track of Barry, please keep
up with the latest forecasts regarding this flooding potential.
