This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Middle
Tennessee.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
Isolated light snow showers across northern portions of Middle
Tennessee expected late this evening through overnight hours.
Snowfall accumulations could approach one quarter of an inch
for locations north of I-40 and west of I-65. Caution on area
roadways advised.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday
Wind chill values on Wednesday morning will range from a
couple of degrees below zero north to around 10 degrees south.
Wind chill values on Thursday morning will range from the single
digits into the mid teens. The duration of these cold temperatures
may pose hazards to exposed plumbing, elderly, homeless, pets,
and those venturing outdoors.
Scattered light snow showers will be possible across the mid state
Thursday night. Snowfall accumulation amounts will range from
around a tenth across southern Cumberland Plateau Region and
locations approaching the Tennessee/Alabama border to around one
half of an inch across the Land Between the Lakes Region. Caution
on area roadways advised.
