...The Flood Advisory continues for the Cumberland River...

  Cumberland River At Pennington Bend affecting Davidson County

. Heavy rainfall has caused the Cumberland River to rise above Action Stage.
Water levels are expected to level off and drop below action stage by late
Wednesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

The Flood Advisory continues for
  The Cumberland River At Pennington Bend
* Until Wednesday evening.
* At 09PM Tuesday the stage was 42.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 47.0 feet.
* At 44.0 feet...Water continues to inundate low lying areas along the river,
  including properties on Berwick Trail, areas near Gibson Creek on Denson Ave
  and Yale Ave, portions of Opryland near Mc Gavock Pike, and properties in the
  River Glen and River Trace subdivisions.
* At 42.0 feet...Low lying areas along the river around Pennington Bend are
  inundated from near the River Trace subdivision to the Cumberland River
  Greenway bridge in Shelby Bottoms Park.
